Three children came to enrich my life. All three of them are reflecting a piece of myself. Yorick (2001) reflects the analytical, independent, autonomous part and is the discoverer among the three. Anniek (2006) adapts seamingless, is caring, sensitive and strong at the same time. Jelte (2008) for his part, is unprejudiced, self-conscious, a catalyst bringing bring people together and loves to put plans into actions. As a family, being able to see the world through the children’s eyes is my biggest happiness when it comes to a meaningful life.
